Joakim Bjørnstad delivered a targeted security and configuration enhancement for the navikt/veilarbvedtaksstotte repository by reconfiguring the Dokdistfordeling integration to use a new token scope. He introduced additional environment variables and configuration properties, updating the DokDistribusjonClient to generate tokens aligned with revised authentication policies. This backend development work, implemented using Java, Kotlin, and YAML, improved access control and enabled more flexible deployment options. Although the scope of work was focused, Joakim’s changes strengthened the security posture and maintainability of the integration, addressing evolving requirements without introducing bugs, and demonstrating careful attention to configuration management and secure coding practices.
