Worked on the elixir-europe/rdmkit repository to enhance data quality and maintainability by refining contributor affiliation information. Focused on configuration and data management, the effort centered on cleaning and standardizing the CONTRIBUTORS.yaml file, particularly improving the readability and consistency of contributor metadata for the biodiversity page. Using YAML, the changes reduced unnecessary noise and ensured clearer attribution, making ongoing maintenance and onboarding more straightforward. The update was minimal yet well-documented, preserving repository integrity while enabling easier future updates. No new features beyond this data hygiene improvement were deployed, and no major bugs were addressed during this period of work.
