Worked on the Saghen/nixpkgs repository to address compatibility issues between JOSM and tiling window managers such as Xmonad. Delivered a targeted bug fix by configuring Java runtime properties, specifically focusing on window reparenting and font rendering, to ensure smoother integration with Linux tiling window management. This approach reduced the need for manual user workarounds and streamlined the setup process for affected environments. Demonstrated skills in package management and system configuration using Nix, while maintaining high code quality and clear version control practices.
