Worked on improving frontend UI stability for the glpi-project/glpi repository, focusing on refining the date picker component. Addressed a layout issue by updating the Flatpickr date field’s button grouping from 'button-group' to 'btn-group', which ensured proper alignment and consistent display within the showDateField component. This change enhanced the usability of date inputs and brought the interface into closer alignment with the project’s design system. Utilized CSS, HTML, and front end development skills to implement the fix, resulting in a smoother user experience and reducing visual inconsistencies that previously affected task completion and generated UI-related support inquiries.
