Worked on the Significant-Gravitas/AutoGPT repository to address a frontend issue affecting user experience. Implemented a targeted fix in React using TypeScript and JavaScript to ensure that customized agent names in the AgentExecutorBlock title persist after saving and reloading the page. The solution involved refining the title resolution logic in NodeHeader.tsx to prioritize user-defined names and relevant agent metadata over generic titles, without requiring any backend changes. Comprehensive end-to-end testing confirmed that the fix preserved user customization and did not impact unrelated blocks. The work focused on frontend development and testing, resulting in a low-risk, user-focused improvement.
