Developed a cross-platform feature for the gitui-org/gitui repository that enables seamless copying of file paths from WSL environments directly to the Windows clipboard. This work focused on enhancing developer workflows by detecting when gitui is running under WSL and programmatically invoking clip.exe to transfer paths, eliminating manual copy-paste steps. The implementation leveraged Rust for system programming and command-line interface development, demonstrating proficiency in environment detection and cross-OS integration. By addressing the specific needs of developers working across Windows and WSL, the feature improved usability and efficiency without introducing new bugs, reflecting careful attention to both functionality and reliability.
