Developed and delivered a domain management configuration feature for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on backend development and domain configuration. The work centered on introducing a new JSON configuration file to define domain settings, including owner details and DNS records, which established a config-as-code foundation for centralized governance. This approach enabled automated validation and streamlined provisioning across different environments, reducing manual setup and clarifying ownership. Leveraging JSON for configuration management and Git for version control, the solution supports faster onboarding and lays the groundwork for future enhancements such as dynamic DNS provisioning, reflecting a methodical and maintainable engineering process.
