Developed an Agent Configuration Options Enhancement for the sst/opencode repository, enabling adjustable reasoning effort within the TaskTool agent configuration. This feature allowed users to fine-tune agent reasoning depth and performance, supporting more flexible and scalable automation. Addressed a bug where subagent reasoning effort was not correctly applied, improving reliability and consistency across agent behaviors. The work was implemented using TypeScript and full stack development practices, with a focus on clean, well-documented commits and thorough peer review. These contributions reduced manual tuning, enhanced automation quality, and established a foundation for future configurability in agent-based systems within the project.
