Worked on the PostHog/posthog-js repository to deliver enhanced OpenAI event tracking and improved observability for AI-assisted workflows. Developed new auto-captured event properties to enable direct correlation with OpenAI Logs, supporting both OpenAI and Azure OpenAI wrappers. Implemented robust streaming error handling to ensure metadata is surfaced even during failures, and reorganized telemetry under a unified namespace to support future cross-provider integrations. Expanded test coverage by adopting parameterized testing conventions and addressed typing regressions to maintain code quality. Utilized TypeScript, API integration, and full stack development skills to reduce debugging time and strengthen analytics for AI-related events.
