In November 2024, Joi enhanced the ersilia-os/ersilia repository by developing a new --all flag for the ersilia delete command, enabling users to remove all locally stored models through the command line interface. Using Python and CLI development skills, Joi implemented robust edge-case handling to address scenarios where no models exist or model specifications are missing, ensuring the command behaves predictably. The update improved user experience by providing clear success messages and guidance when specifications are absent, reducing manual steps and minimizing the risk of accidental deletions. This targeted feature deepened the tool’s usability for local model management workflows.
