Worked on enhancing deployment configurability for Sentry within the sapcc/helm-charts repository by introducing a conditionals-based feature to enable pgBackup and pgMetrics. Leveraged Helm templating and YAML to allow users to flexibly toggle backup and monitoring capabilities without manual chart modifications, streamlining the deployment process for Kubernetes environments. This approach reduced the need for ad-hoc configuration, supporting diverse operational requirements and accelerating onboarding for teams with varying backup and monitoring needs. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of DevOps practices, clear documentation alignment, and maintainable code structure, ultimately improving reliability and efficiency for Sentry deployments managed via Helm charts.
