Worked on the Office-of-Digital-Services/cagovportal repository to enhance user experience and accessibility for public-facing disaster recovery information. Refactored front-end components by replacing accordions with card layouts, improving both usability and accessibility for end users. Addressed a critical navigation issue by correcting Medi-Cal URL redirection and ensuring proper URL formatting, which stabilized key user flows. Maintained clear code history with explicit commit messages to support traceability and collaboration. Utilized CSS and HTML to implement these changes, focusing on front end development best practices. The work demonstrated attention to detail in both UI design and the reliability of essential user journeys.
