Worked on the liqd/a4-meinberlin repository to deliver a comprehensive UI/UX overhaul of the Live Questions feature, focusing on improving user engagement and perceived performance. Migrated existing components to functional React patterns and restructured templates for better maintainability, while updating responsive styles and integrating in-app branding. Added a user-facing success alert after question submission to enhance feedback loops and reduce interaction friction during live participation. Utilized JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS to modernize the frontend, laying the groundwork for faster future iterations and easier long-term maintenance. The work addressed both user experience and code quality within a one-month development period.
