Jonathan Melitski developed Mobile Universal Links integration for the pennlabs/penn-mobile repository, focusing on seamless deep linking between web and mobile platforms. He extended Kubernetes ingress to pennmobile.org, updating the Kubernetes configuration to support new routing paths. This DevOps-driven approach enabled users to transition smoothly from web links to the mobile app, improving onboarding and retention while supporting future feature parity across channels. Working primarily with TypeScript and Kubernetes, Jonathan’s work addressed cross-channel friction and enhanced the install-to-engagement funnel. The project demonstrated depth in infrastructure automation and ingress management, though it was limited in scope to a single feature over one month.
