Worked on release-ready packaging for OSCAR 1.7.0 in the zed-industries/winget-pkgs repository, focusing on enabling streamlined deployment and global localization through Winget. Developed and integrated installer and localization manifest files using YAML, aligning packaging with the OSCAR 1.7.0 release to improve distribution readiness. Emphasized automation in packaging and versioning, ensuring that the application could be easily installed and localized by users worldwide. Leveraged skills in localization, manifest creation, and package management to reduce onboarding friction for new users. The work addressed the need for efficient, globally accessible software distribution without introducing new bugs during the release cycle.
