Worked on enhancing OpenTelemetry tracing documentation within the vocera-ai/docs repository, focusing on improving traceability and instrumentation clarity for users integrating custom transcript providers. Leveraged JavaScript and Markdown to document per-call trace_id usage in webhook integrations, enabling users to link OpenTelemetry traces directly to dashboard runs. Detailed the application of S2S span tags in tracing prompts, ensuring alignment with frontend trace parsing conventions and UI requirements. Coordinated updates across tracing instrumentation prompts to maintain consistency between backend generation and frontend consumption. This work supported better onboarding and observability by clarifying trace_id and span tag usage for real-time system integrations.
