Worked on the cncf/foundation repository to deliver a governance and maintainer onboarding feature for the KEDA project. Focused on formalizing the process of adding new maintainers, the work clarified roles and accountability within KEDA governance, improving project health and escalation paths. Leveraged open source governance and project management skills to document onboarding procedures and update contributor guidelines using Markdown. Demonstrated best practices in Git workflow, including sign-off and documentation updates, to streamline contributor integration. The changes enhanced onboarding efficiency and strengthened the project’s support structure, contributing to clearer governance and improved sustainability for the KEDA open source community.
