Developed a targeted EasyBuild integration for the xxHash 0.8.3 library within the maxim-masterov/easybuild-easyconfigs repository, focusing on reproducible builds and cross-environment consistency. The work involved creating a new EasyBuild configuration file using Python, specifying build dependencies, installation options, and comprehensive sanity checks to ensure reliable installation and verification of the library. Leveraging skills in build system configuration and software packaging, the integration was tailored to operate with GCCcore 13.3.0, aligning with standard toolchains. This approach enabled automated, repeatable deployment of xxHash, supporting robust software packaging practices and ensuring library integrity within the EasyBuild framework.
