Joshua Kraft enhanced the marklogic-contentpump repository by implementing security hardening focused on deprecating legacy TLS protocols. He removed support for TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and other outdated versions, ensuring the system enforces only modern, secure protocols. This work involved updating the Java-based codebase and revising the test suite to validate the absence of deprecated protocols, thereby reducing the attack surface and aligning with current security standards.
