During June 2025, contributed to the immich-app/immich repository by designing and implementing a backend REST API endpoint for asset search statistics. This feature introduced a filterable /search/statistics resource, enabling users to query asset counts for analytics and reporting purposes. The work focused on aligning backend API capabilities with frontend analytics requirements, supporting data-driven decision making around asset inventory. Leveraging skills in API development, Dart, SQL, and TypeScript, the implementation emphasized clear API contract definition and commit-driven delivery. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding backend functionality to meet project milestones and reporting needs.
