During February 2025, Jingqi worked on the cloudflare/cloudflared repository, focusing on improving the accuracy of Backstage catalog metadata. Jingqi addressed a persistent issue by removing the deprecated backstage.io/source-location annotation from catalog-info.yaml, which previously caused mislinks and stale references in the developer portal. This change, implemented through a targeted bug fix, streamlined source code location management and reduced confusion for both developers and operators. Jingqi utilized YAML for configuration management and Git for version control, demonstrating attention to detail in maintaining catalog integrity. The work contributed to a more reliable Backstage user experience and reduced ongoing maintenance overhead.
