Worked on the cloudflare/cloudflared repository to improve the accuracy of Backstage catalog metadata by addressing a persistent source-location issue. Focused on cleaning up the catalog-info.yaml file, the developer removed the deprecated backstage.io/source-location annotation, which previously caused mislinks and stale references in the Backstage interface. This change, implemented through a targeted bug fix, streamlined source code location management and reduced maintenance overhead for the team.
