Worked on the ocaml/opam-repository to address Fedora SDL2 dependency compatibility during the SDL2/SDL3 transition. Focused on improving build reliability by implementing a fix that switches to sdl2-compat-devel for Fedora 42 and newer, while adjusting build conditions based on the detected Fedora version. This approach ensured that dependency resolution remained stable across different Fedora releases, reducing maintenance overhead and supporting cross-distribution consistency. The work involved Linux system administration, package management, and dependency resolution, with changes documented in the repository to clarify the rationale. Utilized OCaml and shell scripting to update build configurations and maintain compatibility throughout the transition period.
