Developed and delivered an OCR Text Extraction Plugin for the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository, enabling users to extract text from documents and images and automatically store the results as Markdown within Obsidian notes. The work focused on enhancing note richness and improving searchability by automating the ingestion of OCR-derived content, thereby streamlining information retrieval across vaults. The technical approach involved JSON manipulation for plugin registration and workflow integration, as well as plugin development to ensure seamless content capture. Demonstrated attention to release workflow and cross-functional collaboration through precise updates to community-plugins.json and effective coordination with the broader plugin ecosystem.
