During April 2025, Josh Broks enhanced deployment configurability for Weights & Biases by developing Terraform-based improvements across the wandb/terraform-google-wandb and wandb/terraform-aws-wandb repositories. He exposed the wandb_spec output in the Helm chart, aligning module references to local spec variables to ensure consistent configuration propagation. By addressing a spec application issue in the AWS module, he enabled correct passing of custom resource specifications, improving production reliability. His work included updating documentation to guide users on the new outputs. Josh applied Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform and HCL, demonstrating a focused, in-depth approach to module maintainability and deployment consistency.
