In March 2025, Jan Schwoerer enhanced the greenbone/gsa and greenbone/gvmd repositories by delivering configurable UI elements and expanding security coverage. Jan implemented a customizable HTML title and a feature flag for Kerberos credentials, allowing dynamic branding and safer feature rollouts using JavaScript and React. He introduced schedule time validation with pre-flight checks and tests to prevent invalid configurations, and improved user feedback by surfacing save errors in the UI. In greenbone/gvmd, Jan extended security auditing by adding HCE and Windows Local Security Checks. His work demonstrated depth in configuration management, front end development, and security-focused system administration.
