Jin Shin focused on improving the maintainability of the lablup/backend.ai-webui repository by streamlining its documentation and codebase structure. Over the course of one month, Jin removed outdated generated HTML documentation files and miscellaneous clutter, targeting technical debt without introducing functional changes. This cleanup, performed using HTML and documentation management skills, clarified the project’s structure and reduced noise, making it easier for new contributors to onboard and for reviewers to assess future changes. The work enhanced the repository’s long-term maintainability and facilitated safer refactoring by ensuring that only essential files remained, supporting more efficient development workflows going forward.
