Developed a Commit Information Retrieval Tool for the github/github-mcp-server repository, enabling detailed extraction of commit data such as statistics and modified files to support faster change-impact analysis and improved auditability. Leveraged Go for backend API development, focusing on robust data handling and maintainable code structure. Enhanced the testing framework by updating tests to utilize an existing endpoint mock for commit retrieval, which increased reliability and simplified future maintenance. Improved documentation and code organization to facilitate the extension of commit-level tooling.
