Worked on the libsdl-org/SDL repository to address a reliability issue affecting iOS file-drop workflows during app cold starts. Developed and integrated a mechanism in Objective-C that stores launch URLs when the application is opened via a URL, ensuring SDL_EVENT_DROP_FILE events are processed after startup. This approach improved app lifecycle management by preserving user actions that previously could be lost, aligning URL-launch handling with the SDL event pipeline. The solution focused on robust event handling and state management within the iOS development environment, ultimately enhancing workflow continuity and reducing user-reported issues related to file-drop event loss on cold start.
