During November 2025, Ballisticeffect developed a new ASB Controller Peer ID Retrieval feature for the UnstoppableSwap/core repository, focusing on enhancing peer-to-peer network visibility and controller capabilities. Using Rust and backend API development skills, they implemented a command that enables retrieval of the Peer ID for ASB instances, facilitating peer identification across the network. This addition improved network observability, troubleshooting, and laid groundwork for future access control and policy enforcement. The work included updating the project changelog and integrating the feature without introducing regressions, reflecting a focused and well-contained engineering effort that addressed a specific operational need.
