Developed policy configurability for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Autopilot clusters within the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository, focusing on enhancing security governance and compliance. The work introduced a new configuration option that restricts system mutations, impersonation, webhooks, and node pools, enabling policy-as-code management for Autopilot clusters. Leveraging skills in cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and Go, the developer delivered an end-to-end solution that integrates with existing policy governance workflows. The implementation provided traceable, auditable changes and addressed business-critical requirements for security posture. This contribution strengthened the ability of organizations to manage cluster policies programmatically, supporting robust cloud-native security and operational best practices.
