Developed and delivered a new Aptos Lottery Daily Volume Adapter for the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository, focusing on accurate daily ticket sales computation across multiple pools. The solution leveraged TypeScript and full stack development skills to implement a delta-based calculation method, determining daily volume by differencing cumulative sales data. To ensure robust and reliable data retrieval, the adapter incorporated version-aware logic that gracefully handled pools missing at certain ledger versions and addressed pre-deployment scenarios. This approach closed data gaps and improved the reliability of analytics for the Aptos lottery protocol, demonstrating effective use of API integration and thoughtful engineering practices.
