Worked on frontend maintenance for the kinetiq-frontend repository, focusing on reducing technical debt and improving the codebase for future development. Addressed two key bugs by removing dead code, including obsolete ManufacturingProcess.css and ManufacturingProcess.jsx files, and eliminated the outdated Production to Quality Control submodule and configuration. This cleanup, implemented using JavaScript, JSX, and CSS, resulted in a leaner and more maintainable repository. The approach emphasized clear documentation and commit traceability, ensuring reproducibility and easier onboarding for new engineers. No new user-facing features were released, but the work improved build reliability and reduced the risk of regressions from stale code.
