During December 2025, Juan Ignacio Rios contributed to the matter-labs/foundry-zksync repository by enhancing backend performance and developer experience. He implemented ABI signature caching, enabling efficient storage and retrieval of function, event, and error signatures from ABI files, and extended the forge selectors command to support additional ABIs through an optional path. Using Rust and Markdown, he wrote comprehensive unit tests to validate caching logic and output formatting, ensuring reliability and maintainability. Juan also updated the clippy linting command to use non-deprecated flags, improving code quality checks and CI predictability. His work demonstrated depth in backend development and documentation.
