During March 2026, contributed to the void-linux/void-packages repository by developing and packaging a new graphical interface for display management using ddcutil. This work introduced the DDCUI GUI package, enabling end users to control display settings through an accessible Qt-based application. The implementation leveraged CMake for build configuration and integrated seamlessly with the existing Void package management workflow, ensuring straightforward installation and maintenance. By focusing on Shell scripting and package management, the contribution laid the foundation for broader adoption of DDC utilities within the Void ecosystem, addressing the need for user-friendly tooling to manage hardware displays graphically and efficiently.
