Worked on the polkadot-js/phishing repository to improve the accuracy of its phishing domain database, focusing on user safety and data quality. Addressed a critical false positive by removing 100coins.io from the all.json file after verifying its legitimacy as a crypto exchanger, thereby reducing the risk of mislabeling and unnecessary user warnings. Utilized JavaScript and JSON for data validation and updates, ensuring that domain status was thoroughly checked before making changes. Standardized commit references to enhance traceability and support future audits. The work emphasized careful remediation and data integrity, contributing to a more reliable and user-friendly phishing detection system.
