Worked on optimizing the CI/CD pipeline for the bcgov/nr-permitconnect-navigator-service repository, focusing on reducing redundant pull request test executions to streamline development workflows. Leveraged GitHub Actions and YAML to implement concurrency-aware logic, adjusting workflow definitions and introducing conditional checks that prevent duplicate test runs on active pull requests. This targeted CI/CD enhancement improved pipeline efficiency, reduced unnecessary compute resource consumption, and accelerated feedback cycles for developers. The work did not introduce new application features but delivered measurable improvements in CI reliability and developer velocity by clarifying test boundaries and minimizing wasted CI time through precise workflow tuning and automation.
