During June 2025, Jungtm1019 developed an automated year-based Docker image tagging system for the skkuding/codedang repository, targeting the client-api, admin-api, and iris services. Leveraging CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and shell scripting in Bash and YAML, Jungtm1019 implemented a year.number versioning scheme with embedded commit SHA traceability. This approach standardized release versioning and improved traceability across multiple services, enabling safer deployments and clearer audit trails. By linking deployment tags directly to specific commits, the solution enhanced rollback safety and cross-service coordination. The work demonstrated a focused application of CI/CD automation and version control best practices within a multi-service environment.
