Worked on the th-ch/youtube-music repository to deliver full Traditional Chinese (zh_Hant) localization for the YouTube Music application, achieving 100% translation coverage across 457 strings. Leveraged JSON for translation data and utilized Weblate to manage the i18n workflow, ensuring seamless integration of translations sourced from pear-devs/pear-desktop/i18n. The process included careful commit management and cross-repository coordination to maintain translation consistency and quality. This work enhanced accessibility for Chinese-speaking users and supported broader localization and accessibility objectives, expanding the application's potential user base. The focus on i18n, localization, and translation demonstrated depth in internationalization engineering practices.
