During their work on the doocs/md repository, Cai Cry developed a Local Folder Access and File Management UI that allows users to interact directly with their local file systems, eliminating the need for uploads or server storage. They implemented this feature using Vue.js and TypeScript, building components such as FolderSourcePanel.vue and FolderTree.vue, and integrating them with the existing editor workflow. Their approach included recursive file tree rendering and robust state management to support seamless folder selection and file operations. This work enabled faster, offline-capable editing and enhanced user autonomy, demonstrating depth in front end development and file system access.
