Worked on Android build engineering and bug fixing across the cake-tech/cake_wallet and videolan/vlc repositories. In cake_wallet, addressed a Bitcoin Cash testnet issue by correcting a whitespace typo in a Dart constant, ensuring accurate testnet address recognition and improving code maintainability. For videolan/vlc, delivered Fontconfig integration for Android by updating Makefile and build configurations to recognize Android system font paths and cache directories. This enabled libass to reliably locate and render system fonts on Android devices. The work demonstrated attention to detail in bug resolution and build system enhancements, focusing on reliability and maintainability using Dart, Makefile, and Fontconfig.
