During July 2025, Jean Perrin focused on dependency management for the Yelp/paasta repository, delivering a targeted upgrade to the logreader component. By updating logreader from version 1.2.0 to 1.3.0 within the extra requirements, Jean ensured the project leveraged the latest stable release without introducing code changes, thereby maintaining system stability. This work involved careful coordination of dependency specifications and validation of compatibility, utilizing skills in dependency management and configuration. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve direct bug fixes, the update contributed to ongoing maintainability and reliability of the Python-based deployment infrastructure.
