During July 2025, Lar Wu developed a component-based issue reporting and auto-labeling system for the intel/sycl-tla repository. Leveraging JavaScript, YAML, and GitHub Actions, Lar introduced a component dropdown in issue templates for bugs and feature requests, enabling more structured data capture. The workflow was extended to automatically assign labels based on the selected component and to recognize CuTe DSL component matches, streamlining triage and routing issues to the correct owners. This work focused on CI/CD configuration and issue management, reducing manual labeling errors and improving onboarding for new contributors by ensuring consistent and accurate issue categorization within the project.
