Worked on the ickshonpe/bevy repository to address a specific issue with IME text input wrapping in UI components. Focused on correcting the behavior of single-line text inputs to align with the intended no-wrap configuration, the solution involved refining the interaction between IME-assisted input and the Bevy engine’s layout system. The fix was validated through targeted example configurations and comprehensive testing to ensure stability and prevent regressions. Utilizing Rust and UI development expertise, the work improved reliability for IME-assisted text entry, reduced visual inconsistencies, and enhanced maintainability for future updates involving text input and layout handling in Bevy.
