During December 2025, JY focused on enhancing user onboarding for the helm/helm repository by developing and documenting an alternate installation method called Mise-en-place. This work involved updating the project’s README using Markdown and applying technical writing best practices to clarify setup instructions. By providing a detailed overview of the new installation path, JY aimed to reduce ambiguity for new users and minimize potential support queries. The contribution demonstrated disciplined documentation habits, including clear commit messages and cross-repository collaboration. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the work improved user guidance and streamlined the initial setup process for Helm users.
