Jymmi developed cross-account IAM role assumption support for the SageMaker embedding handler in the BerriAI/litellm repository, enabling secure and reliable invocation of SageMaker endpoints across AWS accounts. By replacing direct client creation with a credentials-loading invocation path, Jymmi ensured that role parameters are properly utilized, enhancing both security and enterprise usability. The implementation included comprehensive unit tests to validate the new behavior and maintain alignment with the existing completion handler. Working primarily with Python and Boto3, Jymmi demonstrated a strong grasp of backend development and AWS IAM integration, delivering a robust solution for cross-account SageMaker deployments.
