Contributed backend enhancements to the canva/opentelemetry-collector-contrib repository by implementing a persistent sending queue for the OpenSearch exporter, introducing a new configuration option in Go and YAML to queue data during upstream failures. This addition improved reliability and reduced data loss, aligning with the project’s resilience goals and strengthening export path durability. Also updated documentation to guide users on the new feature. In the external-secrets/external-secrets repository, addressed a bug in secret retrieval by refining the GetAllSecrets function to filter by secret path rather than name, thereby increasing accuracy and reliability of secret management across diverse deployment environments.
