Worked on enhancing the Argo Workflows engine by improving the handling of global scope variables within withSequence expressions in the argoproj/argo-workflows repository. Focused on backend development using Go, the contribution addressed scope-related errors by ensuring variables are preserved and correctly utilized during task expansion. This targeted feature and accompanying bug fix increased the reliability and expressiveness of workflow orchestration, enabling more robust and complex pipelines. The work included submitting an upstream patch with a signed-off commit, reinforcing code quality and collaboration within the open-source community.
