Worked on the utd-trends repository to address a critical user experience issue in planner navigation. Focused on improving navigation reliability, the developer implemented a targeted fix that redirects users to the Home page when no search data is present, thereby preventing confusion caused by an empty dashboard state. This solution was designed to handle edge-case scenarios without disrupting standard user flows. The work leveraged React and TypeScript for front end development, ensuring that the change was minimally invasive and maintained existing functionality. The contribution enhanced product stability and user clarity, aligning with ongoing goals for UX polish and robust navigation behavior.
