During December 2024, Kai Siren developed dynamic identity provider and notification infrastructure within the navapbc/template-infra repository, focusing on secure, environment-aware configuration for AWS Cognito user pools, clients, and SES email identities. Leveraging Terraform and HCL, Kai implemented domain and hosted zone gating to ensure features activate only under defined conditions, minimizing misconfiguration risks across environments. To maintain system stability, Kai also reverted exploratory changes for the pfml-starter-kit-app, restoring previous identity and notification settings. This work demonstrated disciplined change management and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code, resulting in robust, configurable solutions tailored to multi-environment deployment needs.
