During March 2025, Kalidatony enhanced contributor recognition automation for the unlock-protocol/unlock repository by updating the CLA Bot configuration. This work involved editing the .clabot JSON configuration to include a new contributor, enabling the bot to automatically identify and process contributions from that user. By focusing on configuration management and bot integration, Kalidatony streamlined the onboarding process and reduced the need for manual contributor license agreement checks. The update improved governance and traceability by ensuring all changes were versioned and auditable. The work demonstrated a focused application of configuration management skills using JSON within a collaborative open-source environment.
